It's infuriating to see manufacturers screw with customers and repairmen alike just to have a bigger payday. Imagine having to spend $1500 to repair a $2000 machine, while the problem only covers not even a percentage of the cost.

It's probably to instill the thinking of "I'll just buy a new one, then" in the consumers. Makes me sad thinking about it.
