I think they are both a bit savage, just in different ways. Wolverine is a more traditional, masculine type of savage. Very rugged, very physical, very aggressive. Tony is actually savage too, it's jsut a more... refined... savage. He is more vocally savage. More intellectually savage. With Woverine, ya get redneck savage. With Tony, you get more Nerd/Geek savage and having known plenty of people in both camps, I would say it is more comparing apples with oranges when we are talking about savagery.
