US stocks rise on Nasdaq amid 'recession', 'truce' and influx of good news
The US stock market started to fall by around 2% due to the “recession” issue after the UK BOE claimed in its financial stability report that the Ukraine crisis was adding to the burden on the UK and global economy. In addition, the sharp drop in the euro on concerns about an economic slowdown in the eurozone, including Germany, also dampened investor sentiment. However, as expectations for a truce between Ukraine and Russia are rising recently and related stocks have strengthened on the back of positive news related to technology, especially cloud, the Nasdaq turned upward and expanded (Dow -0.42%, Nasdaq +1.75%, S&P500 +0.16%, Russell 2000 +0.79%)
Changing factors: Possibility: economic downturn, ceasefire
