This is what they call hydro cutting

It's similar to how you would shove a hole in the ground but this one uses a high pressure water to break and cut the soil in the ground. It could be good since you don't need to exert effort compared to shoveling dirt. The downside of this though is that you'll have mud you might have to remove from the hole, depending on what you're gonna do with the hole you just dug.
