The seating position in F1 cars during the 1950s was kind of similar as to how you're supposed to sit inside a vehicle. Nowadays modern F1 cars make the driver seat so low it's almost adjacent to the ground. It's like you're almost lying down. Might be uncomfortable if you're not used to it, especially you're going around 250 to 300 kilometers per hour and you're strapped in there for more or less two hours.
