With the decline of telephones, this is bound to happen. It is kind of sad to see that this is the last payphone in Manhattan Island in New York. People don't use phones like this anymore since everyone has smartphones now and are either connected to wi-fi or mobile data for internet. Almost everything is digital now, too.
