I think it comes down to chemistry. Some women I’ve talked too seem like a natural click, other times not so much. I’m an introvert by nature so for me when I talk to a chick the energy has to match in a sense. This cyber society has really taken a toll on our psyche. I mean it’s like verbal communication is becoming obsolete nowadays. Anyways your probably better off taking a coworker or classmate on a date then meeting someone online. You meet in person and don’t have much in common. So if y’all end up staring at each other’s foreheads no conversation just awkwardness is a very uncomfortable thing for both parties. Keep it simple at first then express who you are. Remember there’s a whole world inside of you talk about the people you’ve met, the places you’ve been, what you learned along the way, where you wanna be in 5 yrs, places you wanna go,Tv shows and movies you like and grew up too.
