mission alpha tutorial
developer diary
Company of Heroes 3, at launch, features four playable factions and two single-player experiences: the Italian Dynamic Campaign and the North African Operation. The first offers a branching and open experience, while the latter is narrative-driven and structurally more classic.
Abundant new mechanics have dramatically changed the battlefield in North Africa, enabling organized raids to overwhelm enemies with tanks. Powerful Italian units such as Guastatori Combat Engineers and L6/40 light tanks can be called in from Mission Alpha. Players will also enjoy new core gameplay innovations such as side armor, enemy vehicle recovery and vehicle towing. This allows you to reposition powerful guns such as the German Flak 36 and the British 17-pounder.
If you'd like to lead a platoon, the developers of Company of Heroes 3 have also confirmed that the mission alpha is free to play on Steam from today through July 19th. To do this, go to the official website and register for Relic's community feedback program. Players who have installed either of the previous two Pre-Alpha builds do not need to do anything. Mission Alpha will appear in your Steam library.
