Mavis is the first and founding master of Fairy Tail, and her grave is on Sirius Island, the guild's hallowed ground. Despite the fact that a terrible incident in her past halted her physical growth at the age of 13, Mavis commands the respect of her guild with her empathy, intelligence, and great tactical skills. Her spirit still guides and protects Fairy Tail, but only those with the guild mark can see her.
