Riko has acquired a White Whistle thanks to her perseverance through the ordeals of Idofront and can now venture into the Abyss's sixth stratum, The Capital of the Unreturned.
Riko, accompanied by Reg and Nanachi, sets out to discover the ruins of the promised Golden City in the unexplored region.
As the three begin to adjust to their new surroundings, they are met with hostile creatures and perilous terrain. The group eventually makes it to a town inhabited by the mysterious "hollows."
Despite the unsettling atmosphere, the trio decides to investigate the town and maybe find some clues about the lost legacy of the brave souls who braved the dangers of the uncharted Abyss long ago.
