Hiei is little, especially when you consider how taller-looking his hair makes him appear to be. Despite this, he has no trouble defeating opponents who are twice as big as he is. When he was younger, he was much more strong, but the Jagan implant has caused him to lose part of that initial ability. His ability to withstand strikes has a little continuity problem. In his initial appearance, Yusuke was able to use his Spirit Gun to knock him out, but subsequent stories depict him as almost impervious to harm.
