GTA 3, GTA Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas are not realistic enough in this aspect back then. But the funny thing is that if you are controlling the helicopter in San Andreas, if your blades hit the pedestrians, they would actually die. In GTA 4 and GTA 5 as expected it could kill you lol.
