When you're checking an angle end you end up dying

I don't know how many times this has happened to me. I would often check an angle and look at the spot for a long time only for me to check the radar and die because the enemy suddenly appears. I hate it when it happens, man. Often times I would look at the radar for a split second thinking it's still clear then boom, I'm eliminated.
