They're just trying their best, don't be like that. I mean if you think about it as well, some memes from the past decade are actually funnier than the ones we have now. Sometimes they just want it to be entertaining for us so we they can get our attention into studying the lesson. It's for us anyway.

Sometimes I think teachers are not updated with memes so they use what they can find and think is funny even if it's old.
