I have recently been noticing that Elon Musk likes to talk about the stock market on Twitter. In fact, he was one of the big voices behind the resurgence of $GME and now $DOGE.
My only problem is this, do you think his tweets count as market manipulation? He is a billionaire who holds a lot of stock. People on the internet like him enough to follow his advice because - well, he's rich! Meaning whenever he tweets about DOGE (or any other stock) and hypes it up, he influences people to buy up stocks of DOGE and therefore, increase its value.
Isn't that just market manipulation?
