Mom is asking why does her baby knows they are home

I guess the mom is joking here asking why does the baby know they are home every time they are in the driveway. Lol of course the baby would know, look at how rough the driveway is. The baby gets woken up in his sleep every time they have to pass through that driveway. He knows it by now for sure lol.
