I have asked this question as I noticed more and more companies are offering subscription based services. I think it's fine with streaming services especially when you watch a show or a movie, but for some services, I think it's kind of unfair. Instead of being able to completely own the product, it looks like you're just renting it and the monthly bill is just way too high like Adobe for example. What about you? Do you like paying monthly for a program or service you could just own?

I'd like if I could own the product itself, instead of having it subscription based. Sure it could be more pricey, but at least I don't need to pay monthly.
